2 Full-time 20 hours ago Full Job Description THE OPPORTUNITY As part of the America's team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking, and highly motivated Division Manager - Technical Services (DMTS).
With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business expects to grow significantly in the coming years.
Critical to this growth is the appointment of a high-quality DMTS who is responsible for overseeing technical support for dealers and customers.
This position will have office based and field-based team members who will work closely on problem resolution.
This DMTS is responsible for working with dealers and customers to ensure prompt repair of machines and the development of solutions for known and emerging issues based on cases and field experiences.
With current revenues just short of $500M, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share.
This role will require someone who can balance multiple tasks while being a problem solver that can resolve complex machine issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The DM-TS is expected to:
Lead and manage a team of technical services specialists, the warranty administration and quality functions, some of whom are remote Provide support for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of construction equipment provided by the dealer organization is accordance with Sany expectations Develop and implement service and maintenance programs for dealers Train and mentor team members on technical and customer service skills Collaborate with product teams to resolve technical issues and improve product design Communicate regularly with customers and dealers to understand their service needs and ensure customer satisfaction Analyze and report on team performance metrics and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement Manage department budgets and resources to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness Maintain technical expertise in construction equipment and stay current with industry trends and developments.
Work with dealer technicians to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner Review cases for dealers and customers with the team to ensure prompt resolution After resolving an issue ensure that a technical knowledge document is created that can be used for future similar problems Develop the bulletin process for announcing product changes and service updates and campaigns Work with the DMCS to ensure that dealer technicians obtain SANY training and obtain certifications Schedule team members to provide remote and onsite technical support to troubleshoot and repair SANY equipment Review and assign Service Manuals and other technical publications to team members to ensure that these are correct and meet market requirements Work on Manager assigned projects to drive problem resolution to emerging issues Identify and report on product quality and emerging product reliability issues Work with warranty team to drive improvement to warranty recovery and reimbursement policies and procedure Develop warranty reporting to track recovery and reimbursement Assist in the development of Flat Rate Job guides PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree or work experience and training 3
years of leadership experience in managing a team Strong technical knowledge of Equipment sold by Sany Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A customer-centric and service-oriented mind-set with a passion for customer service.
Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Salesforce Strong organization and prioritizing skills TRAVEL Ability to travel 20% to 40% of the time COMPENSATION Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
