0 Part-time 10 hours ago Full Job Description Duties Provide expert legal advice and assistance on civilian personnel matters including:
employee relations, equal opportunity and civil rights.
Represent DoDEA in hearings and other administrative proceedings before the EEOC, MSPB, and FLRA.
Provide legal advice on questions, regulations, practices, or other matters falling within the purview of DoDEA and DoD, including:
conducting, reviewing or advising on investigations.
Review administrative orders, rules, regulations and statutes related to DoDEA operations.
Provide legal advice and assistance in formulating DoDEA's position.
Civilian personnel (labor/employment); Government ethics/standards of conduct; education/school; special education; fiscal; Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act; Develop written opinions, presents cases in formal hearings, and conducts negotiations with civilian employees and their private sector legal representatives.
Conduct extensive research and develops positions on legal questions that may have little or no precedent.
