We are seeking a Front-End Application Developer to join our engineering department. This is a hands-on development role that will directly contribute to the development of our new lighting and lighting control products. We are looking for a talented and creative problem solver. You will be working in a dynamic and fast paced team environment, using your knowledge of control systems and GUI design to deliver new products. You will be involved in the complete development cycle. Detailed technical collaboration with the full cross functional development team will require strong / ongoing communication. Maintaining our market leading position will challenge your creativity and design skills.
Key Responsibilities Develop new front-end software that enables the launch of new products Work with the other software development team members when coordinating on large projects. Translate requirements into software to align the project vision with execution. Participate in the definition of both the functional and non-functional requirements of the system Participate in design reviews, product testing and detailed analysis Active communication with the cross functional team of mechanical and electrical engineers. Understand best-practice software architectures and software development processes Research, assess and adapt to new technologies necessary for future enhancements of products Protect intellectual property through patent disclosures we are a power management company with 2013 sales of $22.0 billion. Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) Basic
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years experience as front-end Web developer using JAVA Script, HTML, HTML5, Jquery, and CSS Preferred
Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution Experience with any Java script frame works Extensive hands-on experience creating cross-browser user interfaces using HTML/HTML5, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML (plus using them together as AJAX), JSON Sound understanding of Agile development, UML, SDL and CMMI Ability to articulate and promote software development best-practices Experience with revision control systems, preferably SVN Skilled in writing specifications and end-user documentation Ability to develop SPA (Single Page applications) Experience consuming Web Services using SOAP or Restful Working knowledge of JS Prototype, Namespacing, Frameworks, etc. Working knowledge of Design Patterns and OOP Working knowledge of at least one web/template based language (JSP / PHP/ASP) Experience in working with web applications, specializing in the user interface of the product Experience in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator to produce screen designs Experience creating User Interfaces, Mockups and Wireframes Experience using JQuery libraries Position Criteria Creative and innovative problem-solving skills Ability to liaise with Java developers on software design for designing Web services to be consumed in the front end Willingness to learn more about new languages and frameworks and constantly strive to build on your skills and knowledge base Willingness to share your skills and knowledge with the people you work with Ability to provide time estimates for tasks Expert ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex design and coding challenges Excellent verbal and written communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
