Job Description
Eaton's Residential and Wiring Devices Division is currently seeking a Retail Marketing Specialist. This position is located in beautiful Peachtree City, Georgia just south of the Atlanta airport.
This position works reports to the Channel Marketing Manager and is responsible for planning, creating and implementing strategic initiatives related to marketing commercialization for products, brand and merchandising for Electrical Distribution and Vertical Segments including ECCN, Home Builders and Retail. They use knowledge of industry, product, and brand strategies to develop and execute programs that grow brand equity and sales through promotions, tradeshows, events, conversions and merchandising through specific channels.
Plans and drives the creation and implementation of promotional programs, merchandising, signage and/or displays, new product launches, brochures, tradeshows, newsletters, special events in addition to channel-specific marketing support materials, promos and conversions. They ensure consistency with brand guidelines and point of sale. They drive synergies across customers and brands within a channel.
o Understands strategy and is responsible for planning and executing opportunity initiatives to increase sales in specific product categories through the use of creative merchandising tools, product launches, effective promotions, and conversions.
o Understands strategy initiatives and is responsible for the creation and implementation of strategic marketing support plans for new product introductions, company positioning and channel-specific programs aimed at increasing sales and growing market share.
o Responsible for staying within set budget for each project as well as vendor selection and management on assigned projects.
o Responsible for executing and administrating all collateral materials including brochures, mailing pieces, new product introduction campaigns, sample kits, training modules, etc. which includes fulfillment.
o Coordinates programs across channel and brands within areas of responsibility and ensures best cost.
o Understands strategy initiatives and is responsible for development and implementation of new merchandising tools across all product lines and channels. Specifically for the ECCN and Homebuilder's.
o Helps support initiatives for Retail deliverables such as line reviews and merchandising
o Responsible for fulfillment management of all literature and merchandising systems to insure proper inventory levels, quality, and ongoing market acceptability. This also includes forecasting, rationalization (useful life-cycle), and/or updating required changes for reprints.
o Execute annual merchandising programs that are cost effective and deliver a high degree of customer satisfaction.
o The development and implementation of marketing programs and sales tools to achieve maximum placement (and therefore sales) in the field. This includes working with Channel Marketing Manager, in-house marketing personnel as well as outside vendors to insure the highest degree of market impact possible.
o Work closely with Channel Marketing Manager to develop merchandising tools and programs that enhance the selling function while keeping within budget parameters.
o Develop relationships with marketing managers and sales at key customers to insure a proactive approach to the customer's merchandising and program opportunities.
o Works with the field sales organization on how to order literature.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years combined hardware retail experience in business, public relations or marketing of consumer products.
Authorized to work in the US on a permanent and ongoing basis without company sponsorship
No relocation is offered. Candidates must reside within a local 50 mile radius to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated aptitude in knowledge of industry, channel activities, merchandising, POP, promotions, sales aides, etc.
Position Criteria
Knowledge of electrical residential products and markets preferred.
Knowledge in using Adobe Creative suites a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
