Maintenance Technician

Role and Responsibilities-(DUTIES MAY BE CHANGED OR ADDITIONAL DUTIES ASSIGNED)
Understand and support the Corporate Mission Statement, Values, Vision, and Operating Principles
Practices and sustains lean and 6S standards and procedures
Adhere to mandatory daily stretch, safety requirements
Understand and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee manual
May assist other Maintenance Technicians at times
Rack building and welding
General building maintenance
Moving of office furniture
Mechanical repairs and modifications of equipment
Installation of various piping for compressed air and chilled process water
Troubleshooting industrial equipment
Move and instillation of industrial equipment

Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Electro-Mechanical Certificate or Licensed Master Electrician preferred; with 5-7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets, technical procedures and manuals.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software.
Have knowledge of CMMS programs in general and iMaint also PMC from DPSI specifically.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
Understanding of industrial equipment mechanics
Wire-feed and TIG welding
Basic carpentry
Forklift driving and scissor lift work platform use
Machining and fabrication
Pipefitting of PVC, threaded and rolled groove pipe
Electrical troubleshooting of industrial equipment, facility wiring and lighting fixtures
Troubleshooting of PLCs and VFDs
Electrical Power Distribution

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
